Integers

To integers include the natural numbers and their negative counterparts, and the number zero.
We can write down that integers are: \[...- 6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1,\ 0,\ 1,\ 2,\ 3,\ 4,\ 5,\ 6,\ ...\] The set of integers is denoted \(\mathbb{Z}\). \[\mathbb{Z}=\left\lbrace ...- 6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1,\ 0,\ 1,\ 2,\ 3,\ 4,\ 5,\ 6,\ ...\right\rbrace\] Sometimes we uses a set of positive integers: \[\mathbb{Z}_{+}=\left\lbrace 1,\ 2,\ 3,\ 4,\ 5,\ 6,\ ...\right\rbrace\] and negative: \[\mathbb{Z}_{-}=\left\lbrace ...- 6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1\right\rbrace\] Warning! The set of positive integers is simply a set of natural numbers.
